What is KeepTrackMed for?

How can this help me with my health & medical information?

KeepTrackMed was designed to put you in control of your information. There are sections where you can add lots of types of medical and health information, and you can enter information from lots of different types of providers too. Your information will be just a few clicks away, whenever or wherever you need it. Read more here..

Download the app on the either the Google PlayStore or the Apple AppStore. Try it out, see what it can do for you!

I don't even know where my information or my kid's information is? How do I get started?

Don't worry, most people are in the same position. You can start using the app today, and add new information as it happens. When you do find older information such as test results, operations, injuries, just add that information in with the date in the past. You will find that you have a good deal of your medical information in the app in no time.

And if you want, you can request a copy of your medical records from most providers. Enter the most important past information in the app, so you always have it available from now on.

What type of information can I store in KeepTrackMed?

You can store lots of different health and medical information from a variety of providers in this app. You can store information from Doctors, Dentists, Chiropractors, Optometrists, Massage Therapists, Alternative Health Providers, and so many more. You can also track symptoms, store tests, operations, allergies, family medical history, your prescriptions, medications and supplements and so much more.

My doctor has a patient-portal, why should I also use KeepTrackMed?

Patient portals are wonderful tools. However, if you move practices, cities or even countries, it would be difficult to take your information with you.

Also, it’s just your doctor’s information in a patient portal. KeepTrackMed allows you to enter data and information from many different kinds of providers including your dentist, optometrist, alternative health provider, massage therapist, physiotherapist and many more. We also have a Symptoms Tracker and a Skin Tracker to help you stay on top of your health.

What do reminders do?

We have lots of places for you to record a reminder. They have been designed to help keep you organised and not miss any future appointments, tests, etc. You can add reminders in a few different ways.

  1. On many Add pages, there is a section at the bottom for Reminders. These reminders are designed to help you remember to come back and update important details, or to book something in the future.

  2. On the Reminders page you can add reminders for anything else that will help you keep track of health or medical information.
     

If you have allowed Notification on your device for KeepTrackMed, you will get a Notification when your Reminder is due.

Who can see the data I enter?

Nobody but you. The data you enter isn’t sent anywhere, it’s for your information and tracking purposes. You are in control of all the information you enter.

Can you tell me about the security of my data?

At KeepTrackMed, your privacy is our priority. We don’t collect sensitive personal details like surnames, birth dates, or medical ID numbers. The only information we ask for is your email address and a first name or initials, keeping things minimal and secure.

All the health data you enter is encrypted in transit, ensuring your information stays safe as it moves between devices. For more on how we protect your privacy, you can review our detailed Privacy Policy.

To ensure your security, we may request your password at various points while using the app, verifying it’s really you. We also recommend choosing a strong, unique password and logging out after each session for added protection.

Finally, we’re proud to say that we don’t use or sell your data for advertising purposes. KeepTrackMed remains completely ad-free even in our Free Plan, so you can focus on managing your health, not on unwanted promotions.

Is KeepTrackMed HIPPA Compliant?

The HIPPA Privacy Rule (USA) standards address the use and disclosure of individuals’ health information (known as protected health information or PHI) by entities subject to the Privacy Rule.  A major goal of the Privacy Rule is to make sure that individuals’ health information is properly protected while allowing the flow of health information needed to provide and promote high-quality healthcare, and to protect the public’s health and well-being.

KeepTrackMed does not transmit any information to other providers, insurers or advertisers. Nor does it receive any information from providers, insurers or advertisers.

 

The HIPAA Security Rule protects a subset of information covered by the Privacy Rule. This subset is all individually identifiable health information a covered entity creates, receives, maintains, or transmits in electronic form.

KeepTrackMed does not collect any individually identifiable information such as surname, date of birth, gender, address, etc. The only information we ask for is an email address to create your account, and a first name or initials for you and your family members.

What devices can I use KeepTrackMed on?

You can use KeepTrackMed on Android and Apple phones or tablets, as well as through the web version on any desktop or laptop. This makes it easy to manage your health information across multiple devices, giving you flexibility and convenience wherever you are. Read more here...

Does the web version cost more money?

No, the web version is completely free to use for all KeepTrackMed customers. Just logon with the same email address and password you used when you signed up for the app on a phone or tablet. 

What will I get access to with the Free Trial?

The 60-day free trial offers a completely free, no credit card required way to use KeepTrackMed for two months with all the features. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time during the trial or after it expires. If it expires, you'll be moved to the free plan automatically.

How much does it cost to add my pet’s information?

It's completely free to add your pet when you are using this app for your own information. You can keep track of their appointments, medications and more in the app. Read more about pet health tracking here...

What currencies are monthly subscriptions in?

The the monthly billing amount will be converted to your local currency by Apple or Google Play.

Is there a free plan?

Yes there is!  Our app has a free 60-day trial with all features available.  After that trial, you can continue to use the app with some of our most popular features. We still won't have any advertising in the free version.

Why is your pricing based on a subscription instead of a one-time payment?

We’ve chosen a subscription model because we’re committed to continuously improving the app and adding new features that enhance your experience. With a subscription, we can regularly update the app, ensuring it remains secure, up-to-date, and responsive to user feedback. This allows us to provide ongoing support and deliver the best possible service, so you always have access to the latest tools for managing your health information effectively.

If I add an appointment in here, can it go on my device's calendar?

Yes , when you add Appointments and Tests in the app, you can choose to also add them to your device’s calendar.

To make the app even more helpful, there is an ‘Upcoming’ view that shows you all the upcoming Appointments and Tests for the whole family at a glance.

Can I import my Contacts from my device?

Because of how we organize contact information, you will need to enter your contacts in KeepTrackMed. But rest assured, once you have entered the information, we have made it easy for you to CALL, EMAIL, SMS or jump to a contact’s WEBSITE directly from in the app.

Can I add letters, photos or attachments?

Yes, you can add files, photos, and screenshots. Adding files and photos is available during your free trial, and on a paid plan.

By having all your documents, test results, and medical information stored in one centralized location, you can easily access them whenever needed. This eliminates the stress of searching through physical files or trying to remember where you stored important documents. Knowing that everything is organized and readily available can provide peace of mind and help reduce anxiety associated with managing your health.

Can I print or share my records?

Yes, there is a print function for some of the lists in the app. If you want to take information with you to your appointment, you can print or share a list of Current Medications/Supplements, your Allergies/Intolerances, any Conditions you have entered, and a list of your Operations/Procedures.

Can I re-order a prescription through the app?

KeepTrackMed is set up as a personal/private record with the goal to empower you to have control of your own data. As part of our security, your data isn't sent anywhere. There is no way to order a prescription from your pharmacy, but we do give you the ability for you to add helpful reminders to order a refill, pick up a prescription, or to call your doctor or pharmacy. We even have a built in reminder to order a new Epipen when it's getting close to it's expiry date if you entered one in the allergies section.

Do you have alerts for taking my medications?

You can store lots of information about your medicines in the app, and you can set up reminders to order refills or pick up your prescriptions, but we don’t have reminder or notification features for when you need to take your medication built into the app.

How do I delete my account?

Did you know we have a Free Plan? If you want to keep track of Allergies, Blood Pressure, Conditions, Height | Weight, Injuries, Operations and Vaccinations and Reminders for the whole family, you can continue to use this for free.

To delete your account, log into the app, go to 'Settings' then 'Subscription & Delete Account', and you will see an orange button at the bottom that says "Delete my Account". When you click the delete button you will be asked for your password to confirm. Deleted accounts cannot be rec
